Dr. Ashlin Ann Alexander is a Research Associate-I at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Water Research, Indian Institute of Science. She finished Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof D Nagesh Kumar from the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science. Dr. Ashlin’s research focuses on hydrological modelling especially on parameter estimation, sensitivity analysis, and model structure uncertainty in process-based hydrological models. She has gained experience working with high performance computing and deep neural networks for her research. Currently, she is working on unprecedented extreme events, and emulator-based hydrologic model calibration.
