Posa Poornima Chandra Lekha, is a PhD student at the Interdisciplinary Center for Water Research (ICWaR), IISc. She completed her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from SVU, Tirupati. She received her Master’s degree in Water Resources from NIT Surathkal, where she worked on the project “Hydrological Modeling using Simulink – Application to Malaprabha Basin, India”.

Currently, she is working on Extreme rainfall events. She likes playing carroms and cooking.
